Enabling Seamless Integration of Esaote’s MyLab Ultrasound
with MS Teams for Remote Collaboration and Education.
MyLabShare is a software solution that allows Esaote’s ultrasound MyLab equipment to seamlessly participate in MS Teams meetings for remote consulting or educational purposes. The software enables authorized users to easily connect to a MyLab device by scanning a QR code, and then initiate or join a call, transmitting the US display content to all other participants.
In order to guarantee a stable and reliable system, the software has been split in two parts, one running on the ultrasound equipment the follows the lifecycle of the ultrasound equipment, and one running on the mobile devices that follows a faster delivery lifecycle.
We designed the system architecture and the UX, and we have built the software that runs on the mobile devices.
