Our client manufactured professional sanification devices and wanted to make a fundamental shift: from selling hardware to selling sanification-as-a-service. To make that model work, they needed full remote visibility and control over every deployed device, knowing when each unit was running, what settings were in use, and whether maintenance was required - without requiring technical expertise on the ground. The infrastructure is a platform that monitors air quality in real time, manages device scheduling remotely, and critically enables predictive maintenance by surfacing anomalies before they become failures. This allows operators to manage single units or entire networks without requiring technical expertise on the ground. Ermit designed and built the complete IoT stack to make it work: embedded connectivity modules, cloud infrastructure, and a mobile-first interface.
